ReplyDeleteFrom this Charlie Harper fat quarter bundle, I would probably make at least a couple of portfolios that hold a Junior Legal pad - for reference purposes, this is the size of notepad I carry... they are spacious and at the same time, still small enough to be handy. This pad is about 5 X 8 inches. It is top-bound to a depth of about .75 inch, which means that you lose a little bit of each page, but not so much that it really matters. I would hope there is also enough fabric to make a decent tote bag to match the portfolios; I would line the bag, but could use some other fabric for that without qualms, as the lining would not be very prominent.
I live in the country and our family room has a very large window that looks out on the wildlife refuge. So, a new lap quilt for my family room would be fitting and needed.
