Let's Bee Social #43 and my Little Blooms Blocks

This post is laden with an overload of pictures ....

30 Little Bloom blocks are finished ....

This project was so much fun ....

Choosing prints to go with the inner petals ....
Which were made with Basic Shades by Riley Blake Designs ....

The challenge of piecing the 3" petals and 1" sashing with cornerstone was savoured ...

As each step of the process was accomplished ....

Some are soft ....

And some are bold ....

But these last 3 beauties are my very favourites ....

Can't wait to get them up on the design wall and play with them ....
Arranging and rearranging ...

NOW.... What's new with you?

If you are not sure what Let's Bee Social is all about, you can read the details here.

  8. I can't help but look at your Little Bloom blocks and see poinsettias. With different shades of red, maybe some Christmas prints, they'd look like variegated poinsettias, don't you think? One way or another, they're lovely. : )
