Let's Bee Social #27

It's been a rough two weeks.  And in that time, I have not sewn one. single. stitch.  Until today.  Today I will be spending time with fabric and colour.  Thread and the sound of a whirring machine.  The smell of freshly pressed seams.  And the thoughts of all my friends who have shown how much they care.

To each of you who has helped me to make it through these past two weeks, please accept my sincere appreciation and a great big THANK YOU!

This photo says it so well...

I promise to share something fabric related soon!

NOW.... What's new with you?

I am sew looking forward to visiting with you all!
Your creativity is sew inspiring!
So.... Show me what you got!

  15. I understand how hard it is to get back to sewing after a loss, even though you know it is relaxing. I still have days where I can't seem to do anything but mindless activities. I think it is because we are insulating ourselves from the grief. I am still praying for you and family to find some comfort and to focus on the good memories. Debbie

  25. Lorna, you are the first to offer encouragement to your fellow quilters, so it is no surprise that you have cultivated such wonderful and supportive friends. I'm glad you've been feeling the love, and happy for you to get back into your studio and focus your energy into what you love "sew" much!
