Aunt Elna and I have been keeping busy. (She is my trusty sewing machine.)
We're not the only ones who have been busy. There are plenty of volunteers who have been hard at work helping to test the new Ombre Sewing Studio mini quilt patterns.
Bit by bit, the feedback has been rolling in. And the patterns have been refined.
Ombre Sewing Studio mini Quilt - 17" x 32" |
This mini says it all. I do LOVE 2 Quilt!
Each quilt features 1" finished strips.
A heart. An iron. A sewing machine. And a spool (or two) of thread!
I love the ombre effect of the Kona solids. Blue is my fave.
And I do LOVE my sewing machines.
I do LOVE 2 Sew... As well!
These quilts, when finished, will both be heading to the new Mad About Patchwork shop.
Pam asked if she could hang them in her new location. I am sew excited - and honoured!!!
Pam, owner of Mad About Patchwork, has the quilt kits for sale in her shop here.
And I will be publishing the patterns for sale very soon!
Ombre Sewing Studio mini Sew - 14" x 33" |
Now that my tops are finished, I am all ready for quilting.
I chose this cute print for backing.
It is Quilting Bee by Debbie Taylor Kerman for Henry Glass Fabrics.

The call for pattern testers has resulted in my making a lot of new friends.
Kind of like our own Online Quilting Bee!
I am so grateful to each of the wonderful volunteers for offering to help make these patterns a success.
If you have any corrections or concerns, please keep the emails coming. Thank you!
A special linky party will be hosted here on Friday, June 27th to celebrate all of our finishes. Quilt tops and/or completed quilts.
Hope you will be here to welcome the newcomers and to cheer for all of the participants!!!
