I've got to PP!!!!!
Paper Piece - that is....
You see it all around. PP is everywhere! And gee whiz, mom! All the cool kids are doing it!
I've been sucked in by this cute little pink unicorn.
And this time next week
I will be linking up to Kristy's cool Quiet Play blog for her weekly Paper Piecing Linky Party.
Yes, I am going to let it all hang out.
It will be the first public viewing of my very own PP.
First Paper Pieced project - that is.... Hope you will join me!
And please forgive me for my little bit of foolishness. *Silly Grin*
Keep on Quilting on!
You are like, so like, ambitious! I know that I should learn, but it will take a little more time then I have to give it. This time I just can't tweet! =}
ReplyDeleteWoohoo!! I'll be checkin in on you next week -- can't wait to see your take on that delightful pattern ;)
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! That unicorn is pretty hard to resist!
ReplyDeleteI'm need to PP too! I'll join in for the first time next week too, Kristy designed a block for me but I need to learn and practice on something easier first - so the challenge to PP is on.
ReplyDeleteAlthough jthere's no way I'm attempting that unicorn just yet!
Good luck... Some patience and a bucketload of fun!

Just dive on in, I find it easier than normal piecing - I explain it to my family as quilting by numbers. Of course, I have made exactly 3 PP items so am NOT an expert. Top tip is use a short stitch length, the paper comes off so much easier.
ReplyDeletePaper Piecing is so enjoyable...have fun!
ReplyDeleteYou'll like it! It's pretty fun.
ReplyDeletesounds like fun - I need to find a good easy beginner pattern and dive in too!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it!
