I hate, or should I say Hate, really HATE shaggy appliqued shapes! I prefer the straight stitch but using the free motion settings on my domestic home machine. It stitches so much faster this way, I get a nice consistent stitch length with some practice and this makes the process so much more enjoyable to me. I am excited to get and read Lara's book for ideas and inspiration and if I happen to win another book I shall gift it to my quilting buddy!
