Another exciting piece of news.... The Plum & June new blogger blog hop is on it's way.  I participated in last year's hop and it was such an incredible experience!  I learned so much.  I met a ton of inspirational people who also participated.  One even became my best friend!  If you are a new blogger who posts mainly about modern quilting, you do not want to miss this!  Dream big and be inspired!  Check out this post now!

Who inspires you to dream big?

My mom has been my lifelong supporter.  No matter what I have ever wanted to do.

Ride a motorcycle?  She encouraged me to go for it!

Become a welder?  For sure!

Monday was my mom's birthday.  I made her a quilted jacket out of Charley Harper prints from Birch Fabrics.  And I am glad to say.... That gift was finished on time and delivered!  I took the day off, kept the kids out of school, and headed to Stratford to visit with my parents for my mom's big day.

Sneak Peek of Mom's birthday suit!

But I am saving those details for a Friday finish!

NOW.... What's new with you?

I am sew looking forward to visiting with all my quilting friends!

Show me what you got!

And Let's Bee Social!

  21. The first vehicle I ever bought was a motorcycle. I would take the bus in the winter and be right back on my bike as soon as the ice was gone. I loved it. Looking at your photos brought back some lovely memories. However......my mom wasn't so supportive.....lol. Happy Birthday to your mom.
