Announcing..... A Scrappy Star Quilt Along!

Want to join me in a Quilt Along?  Are you ready for a challenge?  Here she is!

Follow my blog to get the news when I make my first post about the Quilt Along on June 21st.... My 10th wedding anniversary and, bonus.... the first day of summer!  Whoo - Hooo!

And don't forget to grab my "Quilt Along with Me!" button from my sidebar if you would like to join in the fun.  Clicking on the linky button will bring you directly to this page where I will be archiving all the posts from the quilt along for easy reference.

Hope you will consider following Sew Fresh Quilts so you'll be sure to know when the fun begins!  It's easy as pie to do!  Just click on one of the buttons at the sidebar.  There are plenty of options... RSS will allow you to choose your favourite Feed Reader or subscribe to have my latest posts directly to your email.  And the Bloglovin' tab will allow you to follow me there.  (I do love Bloglovin'!)  If you are into Facebook, Google+, or Twitter you can find me on those too!

I have also added a new tab to my sidebar, called Quilt Along Flickr Group.  Clicking on this tab will take you directly to the Quilt Along with Sew Fresh Quilts Flickr group where anyone can add their pictures to the pool and share in the summer quilt along love!

Linking up this week with some of these linky parties.  Click on through to join in the fun.  Great chance to see what everyone else is up to!

Hope to sew, er - I mean - see you there!

    1. Sounds great, Sherry! I am happy to hear it. Hope we won't be lonely!

It's a pretty big project, which has me concerned that most readers
would likely not want to commit to. But I have worked out the scrappy
background to be sewn a lot like the scrappy trip. So it isn't like
we'll be cutting out a whole whack of 2.5" squares and sewing them up
      one by one!

      Glad you're on board!
      Your quilty buddy,
      Lorna:)

  3. That is an enticing diagram! I like how you've pulled the scraps into warm, cool, and neutral. I have SO much on the go this summer, but I will be looking to see your finished quilt. (I always seem to do QALs after the fact, anyway.)

    1. Thank you, sew much for the thoughtful comment, Laura. You hit the nail on the head concerning the warm/cool/neutral. Those are the key elements that developed in the process of transferring the design from first spark of idea to paper. I appreciate your interest and hope you will be following along. I'm sew looking forward to seeing everyone's take on the design!

  10. I am joining late, okay very late, but I am excited about making this quilt, though I might have to tweak a few colors to accommodate my stash and scraps. Please let me know if you end up doing something different about this QAL. Sometimes people will reboot them with a smaller size or different fabrics and I have a few undone projects from that sort of thing, haha.
